Win32 Virus aka Resident Shield Alert aka Virus Cleaner

I’m highly irritated yet again. I could see if I was watching porn or illegally downloading movies from shady sites. (No disrespect to the porn and movie folk.) No, I’m just trying to write some articles. You know, I’m just trying to make a living. Alas, I must be asking for too much since I got another virus on my laptop.

I was in mid article when an AVG box popped up telling me like 30 different things were wrong with my computer. Oddly enough, it didn’t have a way for me to fix it. Why tell me then?! That’s when I realized the AVG box actually said Resident Shield. This time I didn’t put my head down or sigh. Honestly, I violently cursed. Yes, violently is an accurate description.

So here I go again, losing hours of time from my life because I dare not transfer any file from my laptop to the desktop computer. Is this the life of a freelancer or the life of someone with bad luck? I have AVG on my computer for real, and SuperAntiSpyware. Both must be on vacation this week. Right now I’m in safe mode scanning the real AVG and plan on following it up with Malwarebytes. It’s all I can think of at the moment.

Wish me luck…again.  (As I just glanced over at my laptop, AVG has identified the Win32 virus. Thanks, now can you do something about it?)
